(VBlog - Game Programming 1 - Part 1)

Hello everyone its mid week roughly and its time for another update, today I have the first vblog of my Game Development/Programming for you all. Its a whoping 12 parts due to the format witch is pretty much a straight commentary, so theres very little cuts and no speeding up. The next vblog for my Game Development/Programming will not follow the same exact format. We'll still have some straight comentary but things will be sped up here and there and more cuts possible. So for now enjoy it for what it is and by all means please leave your comments and raitings of course.

I also have 3 more parts of my TFTD LP for you all too, so very close to the end there really isnt that much left in fact this weekend will probley be the last parts for TFTD so you dont want to miss it! We move finnaly on to level 3 of Telth so this really is do or die time! As for other LP's dont fret MM9 playtime is schedule for latter today and I even got some STO playtime scheduled for tommorow so much more coming up! So I would say you can cerinlty expect some MM9 LP's up on saturday as well.

I did mention i'd have some links specifcly to the books I got that really helped me get into game development/programming for VB.NET, its a great book and it can be found here so by all means if your intrested grab it, you can get it for a fairly good price. Freelancer LP Monday & Poll!

Greetings everyone back once again as promissed with some Freelancer LP for everyone! Got 4 parts here for you all to enjoy, but dont hit your cruise drive just yet! I've also got a poll up for everyone and I'd really like your input on this! As most all of you know on the 500+ subscriber tribute I gave you all a look and information about my programing that i've been really working on lately. And if you didnt see that make sure you do check out that vid! So this poll is simple, I want your input on wether or not I should start vbloging the 'unanounced' project I all mentioned in that video for everyone?

I'd really like your honest input on this, I figure as much as I work on it recording my progress for you all and getting to see it at least put some vids up for you all. So please let me know what ya like to see, the poll is up for a week so theres plenty of time to vote and dont be surpise if I mentione it a few LP's and vblogs this week. How many will be out this week? I honeslty dont know i'm still waiting on my upgrade so it could be the normal amount of few i'll be sure to post here when I begin to back things up and prepare for my system upgrade.

Greets again everyone! Quickshot back again as promised with almost everything I was hoping to get. X-COM:TFTD LP - Part 82

But hang on, hold up here dont run away just yet! As you may have noticed the blog has been changing, first the layout, the background and now i'm acutally posting about my LP's? Well yes, and technicaly thats what this blog has always been for. As is my youtube channel an extension of my blog. So yes EVEN my LP's count and I noticed I was posting more and more news about my LP's in my channel comments or even my vblog posts. So it makes more sense to me and probley everyone else that they should be posted and informed here! So from now on, you will find updates and info about ANYTHING posted on my youtube page. Including my LP's. I like this idea because this blog was never meant to be about JUST WoW. Its my gaming blog, and thats what the youtube page is about, and anything i'm doing with gaming.

So my blog will cover everything as much as possible, even if it isnt a vblog we all know on youtube though there still there and although now there just WoW that will not always be the case ethier. I belive this is good for everyone because it keep you up to date in what i'm doing in the world of gamin period. So I encoruge everyone whos subscribed to my youtube page to subscribe or at least bookmark to my blog page as well. Because this is where the news will be, anything new coming out, even if its not video related maybe a mod, anything its going to show up here! So remeber that!

Recovery...some Might & Magic 9 Goodness and Some WoW.

(Part 1)

Greets to everyone, first my aplogies for the lack of updates over the weekend. For thoese following my video blogs as you might of heard on them I was catching a minor cold witch unfournlty got a hold of my sinius and pretty much put me out of commision till late sunday night early monday. As much as I tried to play and do anything, WoW related or otherwise I just didnt mange to get it done. So my aplogies for that. I feel much better now and I did get some playing done as part of my last leg of recovery I played some Might & Magic 9(IX) an old school first person fantasy-party RPG. Thanks to some encourgment from RPGenie's videos on you tube of his gameplay and the finding of a 3rd party un-offical patch mod that helps the game run a bit better I acutally played it a lot yesterday.

The first two parts of the videos here do cover that, so if your curious take a look check it out, i' relaly like to hear your feedback as this is pretty much the first real game i've covered in my blog that isnt specifcly WoW related as I been promissing to do so I really want to hear you opinons on it. I did manage to play some WoW last night before I did head to bed, finshing some quests with my lovely fiance who at the time was level 69 and i'm proud and happy to say did reach level 70 before the night was out, I wasnt awake for it thou hehe. Plans for today are to play more WoW see if I can do a bit of ctaching up, i'm only a real day behind on my main, so i'm definlty going for at least level 65.

Level 63 & Hellfire Cidital Ramps & Furrance!!!

(Part 1)

So hello everyone, I do have an early post for you all to finish all that didnt quite get covered yesterday. As well as of course more video contining right where we left off, moving from level 62 to 63 as well as doing my first outland instances witch i'm happy to say was very very nice. So this was again all done yesterday as well, so this blog post is kind of a countiation/catch-up from yesterday. Again this is using the same format I used yesterday as I think it works well, again i'd like everyones feedback on these videos and of course comments ranking and subscribing never hurt ethier ;P

WoW Servers Gone Fishing....and lone mains...

Greets once again everyone, back again as promissed after a RL eventfull day. Foruntly or unfourntly depending on how you look at it, the WoW servers were as the name suggests and as my pic shows, gone fishing! Extnded mataince of course happend today but when the servers came back up in the game mail system wasnt working at all, everything was being lost! So servers were brought down, and not brought back up untill nearly 6 to 7+ hours latters. Now needless to say mannnnnny people were upset about this. However my faince and I took it in stride, granted were WoW junkies, but we had RL important matters to worry about so it acutally helped to let us focus on it.

Once the dust settled and the smoke cleared the servers came back up without a hitch once again, and as you can plainly see in these screenies my lovely fiance and I have taken our partying leveling up ways to bed. Yes were soloing now, this gives us both better freedom. I've been with my lovely fiance since she started wow, i was nearly 20 whole level ahead of her for it, but acutally walked her through evreything to let her learn about WoW and make sure her choice of a druid is what she wanted. She was hooked nad i'm happy to say learned very fast.

Playing togetehr with out mains made sense and was a ton of fun but now that were 50+ its not very efficent or reliable as our goals for this mid game could be diffrent. Case in point my lovely fiance has already joined a new guild witch I encoruged for her because it fit with what she wanted and needed. I'm looking at guilds that I think could be potential but i'm not comming to any guild untill i'm at the very least level 55. This has also allowed us to level and move at our own pace and best of all if one of the other dosnt feel like playing main or rl comes up or we just are not awake it dosnt matter now.

And the best part is were still there for each other if need be, we can still group for certian things and of course since we'll be in familer areas we can help each other out if needed. But as you can clearly see from these screen my faince in all her balance druid glory can very easily handle herself! And i've never been prouder!!! As for our levels if you curious and keeping track my lovely fiance did hit level 53 as did I in fact you can clearly see from the last screen i have easily made an entire level in a very short amount of time.We spent most of our small time togetehr thou not acutally parited otgetehr in western plaugelands witch is a wonderfull treat, it can seem intemdiating but thats the point. The last part of the night i made my way back un'gro crater to try and finsh off some quests and even do some hunting for leatehrworking, but alas i'm too tried and its late so i'm calling it a night and will get back to it tommrow.

And yes tommrow is the big day as WoLK will launch at midnight edt(eastern daylight time) and heres hoping the servers dont die! LOL as for us will we be there that looks pretty much impossible right now, unforuntly RL has reared its head and prevented it for now, but we will catch up you can bet on it so look out cause we will be there! and as such on our deathknights we will play and party together and that will be an absloute blast! As for the addon front, i havnt done any work on it because of the various server problems of course and of course rl issues.

I will get back to work on it in erneast i'm figuring this weekend is the best bet let the dust settle from WoLK release first. So whats on the WoW agenda tommrow more mains! at least mine anyway, i want to keep levling and getting up there as well as push my leatherwoking up and of course my fishing could use a little work so stayed tuned for all that! Getting Back to the grind....

Hello again everyone, well hallows end has finnaly officaly ended on WoW and with that my fiance and I have returned to our grinding with our mains, thou we didnt get all that much done today (about a half level in xp or experince points) due to rl reasons we did manage to get a few quests done and started as well. As promissed I have screenshots for you right here.

The first image seen here on the right is my fiance and I waiting for the boat to return to Kaliamdor. The next images our of us fighting and doing some quests in various regions of Kailamdor and also a nice shot of the now tamable devilsaurs, it was my loving fiances first time seeing it and yes there really that big! I also got a chance to work on one my newest alts, shes a mage, shes focusing on the new inscription profession and you can see my proud acomplsihment through the acheivemnt system there, witch I enjoy very much, they dont have any real rewards right now sides braging rights, but its like a badge of honor and proof like see I did that! And I know doing the trick or treat for Eastern Kingdoms achiment me and my fiance did felt like we really acomplished somehting so its a wonderfull little system.

We will be doing a lot more heavy gridning of our mains tommorrow were doing very well with WoLK(wraith of the lich king) only 10 days away now, its also very exciting to get into these very big regions and areas now and to really 'catch up' in my prespective where i could of and would of been a very long time ago if I still had my orignal account. I have to admit i'm feeling a little burn out on WoW as i tend to do with most games but the idea of WoLK coming and pushing myself has helped a lot i'm sure that once our mains are at level 55 and theres still some time before WoLK is released that I may take a bit of a break, but for now honestl its a blast.

As for my addons i havnt done much if any work today on anything mod releated for WoW or otherwise, i'm thinking about playing around with BigWigs again before i goto bed, but i'm not sure yet. I still have a lot of alts that need to level and work done that I do want to do and get back into the grind for them. I have to admit i'm very much missing my ablity to usefully edit oblivion (the video card is onbaord atm since the once i put in heatsink is messed up and I havnt had the money to buy a new one yet) the idea of the changes blizzard does in WoW reminds me of the things you can do in oblivion like that. I know i'll get back to it one day and i look forward to it very much.

Anywayz in the mean time its more WoW and of course with the release of WoLK its a lot of WoW in the form of playing the new death knight class witch i look forward to a lot from what i've heard and seen from the beta! So that moment has finnaly come,

Hello all I am Quickshot14, and finnaly after always wondering if I should I have broken down with the masses and started a blog. (plays shudder music) I know for goodness sake not another damn blog! LOL well if your looking for anything game related its here, i'll do my best to try to keep the dreaded RL (thats real life for thoese not up to net lingo) away from this blog as much as possible.

So what can you expect in this blog, well first me getting used to it, and added content as much as possible, second a lot posts, hoepfully, LOL. Seriously thou expect gaming, I am a gaming freak, 26 years old and been gaming since my lil years (yeah like 4!) So i've litterly grown up with the gaming community.

Add to that some programing know-how and a passion for modding spreading back to easy hex editing wing commander, and well its me. Sure i'm not where near as good as a lot of modders
out there, and granted not many mods i make really ever even get released. But I do my best.

First my modding and esppicaly WoW (thats World of Warcraft) will probley totaly dominate this blog. So sit back, grab a cold one (a coke maybe ;P) and enjoy the show. Love it, hate it, let me know and spread the word, thats the only way a blog survives, visiablity!

So besides boring you with useless information about my past lets talk about whats coming to the blog, links, videos, pictures and of course posts! Talking WoW my girl and I (my sweet loving beatifull fiance) have resumed our pounding, make that grinding...okay dosnt sound right....of WoW to get our mains (thats our most played/highest level charchter) upto the required level 55 to unlock death knights for the inment release of WoTLK (or wraith of the lich king) november 13th.

We starting the level feista, (blame that pun on shakira playing right now ;P) about a week a go today now. (yes even durning the zombie madness and belive it or not we even made a level the worst day too!) starting at a fresh level of 43 and 42 respectivly. Our druids, that we play on Echo Isle server, named Zandirs and Alxzes, started admiss a zombie invasion and my second more understood and indepth modding adventure of WoW. Now coming off our two to three day break and me modding like hell, we reached level 50 and 49 respectivly yesterday! With more leveling goodness of course coming latter today.

I'm very pleased with my achivement of level 50 in WoW as a long time off/on casual WoW player since orignal open beta. Its nice to finnaly make that benchmark, but as my brother would say, 'its about time'. I'll try to grab a few screen grabs latter today of our leveling quest for you all later today. Even if i forget to re-install photoshop before I goto bed here in a couple hours!

For all thoese intreseted in my addon I have made and released for WoW, it can be found on curse.com and wowui. I would suggest the wowui link as it has the most up to date version as i'm having problems trying to upload a new file on curse.com
