Hey everyone back a bit early and once again to give you all as much as I can this week! First up some WoW goodness including first and formost that forementioned mount hyjal old school raid witch we ran last week! It went great and was a lot of fun even if there was only 14-13 of us! So defintly will want to check that out! And of course as I promissed and I know its been a while, finnaly new videos of the ongoing addon special is up for your enjoyment!

First up is Grid and Clique something thats as a healer and former healbot user I suggest every healer take a good long hard look at as a replacement for healbot. It also has many other uses outside of healing as well so by all means please take a look at it. I know a lot of you have had some questions baout my new UI layout so i've acutally covered some of that information in the second addon special part i've added here while disscusing SunnArt witch I used to help make my UI layout possible.

WoW Obsidan Sanctum & Addon Special Part 7 & 8!

Greets once again to everyone, its been a little bit I know, RL is doing its thing but I have defintly not been idle for you guys, oh no and not even a holiday can slow this man down LOL! Seriously thou, first good news for the LP fans, all problems with TFTD has been worked out and you can expect new footage from that LP around the end of the week! I'll spare you the details of what I did (you dont want to know LMAO) but needless to say its done. But lets get to the main event here, RAID VIDS!! Yes as promissed there here!!!

(Addon 7)

First up is Obsidan Sanctum or OS as its commonly refered to, you can find this lovely 10-man (normal)/25-man (Heroric) instance in Dragonblight directly under the Wyrmrest temple. This was our first major 10 man our fairly new casual raiding guild got to dive into it. Witch is good for a few reasons, its not to complicated its basicly a huge giant cave with a horseshoe shaped rise around the middle area where the main boss is. Pretty straight forward. A good starting Raid for Northrend esppicaly for under-geared just learning causal raiding guild ;)

So how did we do, take a look at the vid for yourself and see :) keep in mind you will notice theres some resoultion changes, none of this footage thats complied here happend in just one day (as most all raids go!) so this was inbetween my operating system change. I also have here the next two parts of the addon special. Definlty a big deal here esppicaly in part 7, as it covers Auctioneer and now were starting to get to the lower addons I use, you may noticed through-out these addon videos I have some mods changing (like my minimap for example) this is important with 3.2 probley only a month or so away i'm trying to get rid of the oldest UI mods that I can, so i'll keep you updated to that.

Also my list for my UI will be updated here very soon as I finsh filtering through addons with more specific links and of course EVERYTHING thats been covered in the addon videos thus far even if there not on that list right now. (Woot I just made more work for myself LOL) Lastly I want to say HEY to all my fellow guild mates checking out my blog again or for the first time, and encoruge anyone curious about our guild theres a wonderfull link to the guild website just to your right there. And finnaly my wonderfull Paladin alt has made it to level 20 (WOOT!) and i've added a new armory link for her to the right as well.

Addon Special Part 1 & a Goldtip!!

Hello everyone and helloooo June! Kicking things off here this month on my blog/vblog is the first part of the new special you all voted for! YAAAA!! Addon Special Part 1 kicks things off going over Mirage UI and X-Perl Unit Frames, theres of course much more coming so make sure you stayed tuned for it as they become avaliable! Also as a bonus and as I mentioned last time, I found a decent gold making staratgey in Northrend that I wanted to share with you all, so I have a goldtip video posting up for you all. I am about to hit level 79 as I continue to mainly run dungeons and dialies but dont fret questing and such as we have been doing in grizzly will still continue, as for my next blog post of level 76-77 it should be up here by the end of the week, thats my plan anyway but depending on how RL goes well time will see, make sure you check back for more, no beatuy screen this time my aplogies, untill next time!!!

ALT day with a touch of SFK....

Greets once again everyone, so another day off the old counting block to WoLK (thats like 3 days away for thoese keeping track ;P) and one last good break off our mains before final cram time. So today started out easy enough with my alts, mainly my warlock pushing him to level 20. Course he did reach his 100 quests completed mark but did stop just short of level 19. Why you may ask, to level Zaarod (my horde main-alt) to be ran through SFK(Shadowfang Keep) by my lovely fiance. After a short level trip for my undead mage to level 21 we headed into shadowfang witch gave me a full exploration achivement as you can see in the screenie.


So we got to work, i'm happy to say this was the most enjoyable way to learn SFK since, yes I have to admit i had never run it before. Even on my old pervious account I never ran many instances with the exception of DM(Deadmines). its just sad but true! We had a lot of great moments including as you can see in the shots the dining room clearing. My fiance celebreated by dancing on top of the table with her cat and of course i celebrated by feasting on the flesh....what i'm an undead mage! helllllooo ;P As we moved up we ran into the main reason why I wanted to run SFK now instead of latter.

With the scoruge invasion in full swing for pre-WoLK goodness some new bosses have been introduced to old instances temporarly, this happens to be one of them, a nasty abomnation by the name of Sever. He didnt seem too diffcult for my finace to handle and his drops are nice and up-to date. Unfournlty i didnt get the drop i wanted of him, but still if you play WoW and you have a chance go after him and say you did it, before hes gone! After Sever we continued onward to the main attractions as we closed in on the ultimate goal Arugal. I was suprrised hoenslty by how easy this low level instance is compared to most allaince ones. Deadmines and Blackfathom Depths are much more tougher just in sheer numbers. The only place where even my fiance had to be carefull was the dinning room.

Never the less we made our way past the wolf master and up to Arugal himself and took him down handly chalking up our achivement and of course the completion of my last quests. Turning thoese last two in, neted with the quest turn in inside the instance and all the experince from kills neted me an easy level making my mage, level 22. Also he got some decent gear out of it too. Brand new shoulderpads and a better belt to name the big two. The loot drop wasnt to bad ethier most went to disenchanting but some made it to the auction block.

So that was pretty much it for the day, with it so late and myself and my fiance dead tired my warlock will have to wait at least another day before he reaches that level 20, and of course its back to major work on our mains tommrow as we close in on 55 and WoLK! As always i'll have the lastest info and screenies for you all to see! As for modding, I did get some done working on the new MatTrack tyring to update/convert the old Inventory Hawk to bring it in, so far its been very very slow, but i've started making some minor progress. The main problem is the old code, theres some really old not nedded naymore code used here and my still new experince to WoW addons, makes me unsure where to stop and end on this code.

Its getting done but at a turtles pace right now, oh and you may of noticed a UI change, healbot has been removed at least temporarly due to some bug problems with the newest updates, despite doing as sated with the cleaning of the WTF folder it still does nothing to fix the issue and i've tired everything. At the behest advice of my brother i'm using Clique for now as a psudeo replacement for that addon. A long day....Wait what about yesterday?

Well hello everyone, first my aplogies about no post yesterday I was so tired okay make that exhausted last night that I crashed early and didnt get up till a decent hour (about 9am) so I didnt make a blog post, but I have plenty for you today, first I spent most of yesterday since there was no mains due to RL reasons, running my warlock on WoW and i'm happy to report not only is he expert first aid now as you can see in the screenshot but he ran through dead mines and is now level 18 and should be level 20 tommrow and you can bet i'll have a screenie of that to show you all.

As for the mains we got back to it today taking a bit of a break from the heavy level grind to finsh a few quests and run the instance of Zul'Frak. It gave my fiance a good chance to try out her new moonkin form, it also gave us a pretty good challange esppicaly with the one that i didnt mange to get screenies of, we died to him 3 times before we finnaly took him down, hes little basslik like freinds were a pain! We still had fun and a great time and got all the quests done none the less and even have good experince to show for it, nearly an entire levels worth! More then even I expected!

Some of the great moments I did mange to get screenies of, the beetles were a lot of fun, not really hard but A LOT of them! As you can see in these screenies we just had to much fun with them, then we fought some zombies and then danced to celebrate, then met up with some freinds inside and took down a looooooooong stream of badies as you can see from shot it got really intense then finnaly while finshing a quest chain the stemmed from it we got lucky and fell off a clif and not only didnt die, but got an achivement, needless to say our mains had a good full day and we felt proud of ourselves!

So whats next up with only 4 days till WoLK? Well more leveling mains for course, with priorty of leveling my warlock to level 20 and yes i'm even starting on a new addon for wow. Its called MatTrack and its going to be heavily based on the old Inventory Hawk that is no longer being updated/used. So stay tuned for that! As for new outside of WoW relation, found a wonderfull Q&A article about the upcoming Sims 3 that i'm looking forward too. It looks like it will be a lot of fun, as for modding potentional it seems a lot will be able to do inside, just how much or powerfull still remains to be seen.

I'm hoping to update my WoW signature that you always see just bellow the blog posts soon, still waiting on an update to the software for that so stay tunned for that! So that moment has finnaly come,

Hello all I am Quickshot14, and finnaly after always wondering if I should I have broken down with the masses and started a blog. (plays shudder music) I know for goodness sake not another damn blog! LOL well if your looking for anything game related its here, i'll do my best to try to keep the dreaded RL (thats real life for thoese not up to net lingo) away from this blog as much as possible.

So what can you expect in this blog, well first me getting used to it, and added content as much as possible, second a lot posts, hoepfully, LOL. Seriously thou expect gaming, I am a gaming freak, 26 years old and been gaming since my lil years (yeah like 4!) So i've litterly grown up with the gaming community.

Add to that some programing know-how and a passion for modding spreading back to easy hex editing wing commander, and well its me. Sure i'm not where near as good as a lot of modders
out there, and granted not many mods i make really ever even get released. But I do my best.

First my modding and esppicaly WoW (thats World of Warcraft) will probley totaly dominate this blog. So sit back, grab a cold one (a coke maybe ;P) and enjoy the show. Love it, hate it, let me know and spread the word, thats the only way a blog survives, visiablity!

So besides boring you with useless information about my past lets talk about whats coming to the blog, links, videos, pictures and of course posts! Talking WoW my girl and I (my sweet loving beatifull fiance) have resumed our pounding, make that grinding...okay dosnt sound right....of WoW to get our mains (thats our most played/highest level charchter) upto the required level 55 to unlock death knights for the inment release of WoTLK (or wraith of the lich king) november 13th.

We starting the level feista, (blame that pun on shakira playing right now ;P) about a week a go today now. (yes even durning the zombie madness and belive it or not we even made a level the worst day too!) starting at a fresh level of 43 and 42 respectivly. Our druids, that we play on Echo Isle server, named Zandirs and Alxzes, started admiss a zombie invasion and my second more understood and indepth modding adventure of WoW. Now coming off our two to three day break and me modding like hell, we reached level 50 and 49 respectivly yesterday! With more leveling goodness of course coming latter today.

I'm very pleased with my achivement of level 50 in WoW as a long time off/on casual WoW player since orignal open beta. Its nice to finnaly make that benchmark, but as my brother would say, 'its about time'. I'll try to grab a few screen grabs latter today of our leveling quest for you all later today. Even if i forget to re-install photoshop before I goto bed here in a couple hours!

For all thoese intreseted in my addon I have made and released for WoW, it can be found on curse.com and wowui. I would suggest the wowui link as it has the most up to date version as i'm having problems trying to upload a new file on curse.com
