WoLK comes to me, and Death Knights ROCK!

Back again everyone! And in for a treat my faince and I managed to buy 2 copies of WoLK for us and we rocked with our death knights and I have awsome screenies for you all to see and enjoy, be warned there might be some spoliers so you have been warned! First I have to say I have this has been a very enjoyable experince by far, anyone looking to do this is in for quite a treat this is an experince you have never had before in any mmo let alone WoW its self!! The entire phasing aspect is so seemless and somewhat transparent and your so caught up into what your doing to really even notice!

So my wonderfull fiance and I rolled our Night Elf deathknights as altarnte fallen personas of our mains, you can see all these wonderfull screenies of our progress and transiton throughout the starting quests. You start as level 55 and by the time your 'free' of the lich king (you start out acutally working for the scourge!) you should be about level 58, it was a lot of fun I do have to admit and the gear went up well! The entire aspect of being of deathknight is very tankish (ie take the damage and focus on you) but there much more versitle and diffrent then any other tank you may have ever seen or played!

Its hard to describe really, but it makes total sense lore wise after all death knights are the oposite specturm of paladins as the entire progress shows by how arthas was a paladin then became a death knight. Its a lot of fun the story invovled and the changing world in the start is quite epic feeling, and then how your treated untill you set things straight is very very neat. If anyone is even thinking about buying WoLK but dosnt have a 70 and has at least a level 55 then get it for the death knight i'm sure you wont be dissapointed!

I dont want to go into to much detail about what your seeing as most to show what we did and wet your appiate, there plenty of places on the web to find more info and more details and spoliers about the death knight area and its quests/story. But as you can see its very cool, any race on ethier side can be a death knight, so have away at it! I would definlty look up for minformation about death knight class at the WoW website if you want more info. The most important things to note that in order to roll(create) a death knight you must have WoLK (of course!) and have a toon(a charchter) at least level 55. Then you can create your new Death Knight.

Besides rolling a death knight and geting WoLK I also did level my main to level 56! Also were setting up some instance running tommorow in the guild so be sure to check the blog for screenies and info on that! I hope you all subscribe to the blog, leave comments the works. I'm not sure if you have to register with blogger.com for some of it but its painless and easy and you can even start your own blog! As for addons of course I was hoping to get to dillgent work on my new MatTrack but with getting WoLK and guild that hasnt happend quite yet, i'll try to fit in some work on it probley sunday at the eailest monday at the latest so stay tuned for that.

DING Level 55!!...and the joining of Royal Pain!

And greets to everyone once more, its another day and wow what a day! Very long and busy and still in progress lol. First thing I see when I logged in as promissed with the screens is a death knight and there coming out all over and there awsome! So far many death knights have been helpfull, very in fact one deathknight acutally asked me before atacking a mob if i was after it as well for quest, i told him yes and he grouped and helped me out for the quest duration and then a nice farewall. Very cool stuff!

Today was full of firsts, of course first to level 55! And with it came guild time and i'm happy to say I belive i've found a great guild, still under probation (thats trial period to make sure I fit the guild and vica versa) And so far we are having a blast, after meeting up with them all my lovely fiance also decided to join them as she was dis-satisfied with her current guild. I'm happy to say this is definlty the guild I was looking for, fun, orignzied, adult and best of all helpfull! But lets go through these screenies first.

First we have our deaht knight pics, as you can see its pretty awsome but the pic does it no justice, and I definlty can not wait to get my hands on my own death knight! After the death knight we have what i'm pretty sure is the death knights portal/gate to ebon hold, the cidital to the death knights if you will. Next we have me making it to level 55! WOOT after about a week or so finnaly made it to level 55. With that came some new gearing and of course the all important guild call.

But first I made my first aid achivement upto master! Witch made me very happy of course, then the guild came and with it first the title (with me cheering glad to find a good guild) followed by another achivemnt that caught me a bit by suprsied, 500 quests completed! WOW! Thats a lot of quests lol. Followed by some serious work in the suken temple! A group of 5 of us headed down there my lovley fiance included to loot it up and take some quests down, we even manged to get some xp out of the mobs too and of course racked up the achivment as you can see! A very good run and a very good day!

Tommorw will be full with more! WoLK should be tommrow night and I sure cant wait! The night WoLK went live.....

And hello again everyone its a new day in WoW as officaly 12am EDT(eastern daylight time) the long awaited WoLK went live! I was there...cheering in the background a bit bumbed that i wont get to play for now....RL looks like it screwed me but looks like there is silver lining to get at least one if not possibly both copies of WoLK by friday night. Time will tell, in the mean time the main fest continues! First i'm proud and happy to say my faiance is enjoying and doing so well in her venture by herself that shes acutally ahead of me! Yes before she went to bed early this morning she hit level 55!!!!!!

Needless to say i'm so proud of her, unforunlty she was so excited she didnt get a screen grab for you all! But mine is still coming i'm very close to levling and as you can see in these screenies I had a busy and exciting night! First it was back to questing and a bit of hunting to finnaly become a master in leatherworking, witch not only did i acomplish as my screenie shows but i even took on some dangerous foes by myeslf and took them down! Elites and even the nasty devilsaurs!!! The proof is all there in the screens! Sometimes its really good to be a battle restro-druid(restroration druid)!!!!

The day started out easy enough, tooks some time to help my lovley fiance take down a big bad ape and not get ganked (ganged up on) by other apes! Needless to say we sucseeded, twice of course, i had and needed the quest too! And again as i said before i took on a lot of odds and toruble in the name of leatherworking!! Taking down groups of 3 or 4 diffrent mobs or even some very very very means big ones as I mentioned! Needless to say I suprsised even myself.

So after doing a lot of work on getting leatherwokring up and getting it above the mark I did a little sight seeing with the WoLK now live of course this means the boats to northrend are now working, now I got on one of these boats for fun to show what happens when you try to goto northrend and you dont have the expansion, its on the move and then poof your teleported back to the docks with a little nag 'You need the Wraith of the Lich King expansion in order to access this area" hehe it was sooo much fun i had to due it twice and i wasnt alone that was probley the funiest part!

Also the orignal king of stormwind is back again! Yes you remebr me mentioning about him yesterday well hes in the throne room now next to his poor son and i have some wonderfull screenies of that for you all too. So whats in store today more of the same level level and more leveling!!! And of course more screenies and you can bet as soon as i get my frist view of a deathknight out there i will have screens up for all of you! And of course when I get WoLK you will see all the deathknight action right here as my fiance and I move up our deathknights!!!

The other event coming, its nearing time for me to seriously pick a guild! Thats right with level 55+ comes, raiding and everyhting else and a good guild for it will be imporant and esential!! So dont go no where if anyone reads this theres plenty more WoW goodness to come!! Also more addons as well, this weekend baring having WoLK there will be MAJOR work on my MatTrack mod! WoW Servers Gone Fishing....and lone mains...

Greets once again everyone, back again as promissed after a RL eventfull day. Foruntly or unfourntly depending on how you look at it, the WoW servers were as the name suggests and as my pic shows, gone fishing! Extnded mataince of course happend today but when the servers came back up in the game mail system wasnt working at all, everything was being lost! So servers were brought down, and not brought back up untill nearly 6 to 7+ hours latters. Now needless to say mannnnnny people were upset about this. However my faince and I took it in stride, granted were WoW junkies, but we had RL important matters to worry about so it acutally helped to let us focus on it.

Once the dust settled and the smoke cleared the servers came back up without a hitch once again, and as you can plainly see in these screenies my lovely fiance and I have taken our partying leveling up ways to bed. Yes were soloing now, this gives us both better freedom. I've been with my lovely fiance since she started wow, i was nearly 20 whole level ahead of her for it, but acutally walked her through evreything to let her learn about WoW and make sure her choice of a druid is what she wanted. She was hooked nad i'm happy to say learned very fast.

Playing togetehr with out mains made sense and was a ton of fun but now that were 50+ its not very efficent or reliable as our goals for this mid game could be diffrent. Case in point my lovely fiance has already joined a new guild witch I encoruged for her because it fit with what she wanted and needed. I'm looking at guilds that I think could be potential but i'm not comming to any guild untill i'm at the very least level 55. This has also allowed us to level and move at our own pace and best of all if one of the other dosnt feel like playing main or rl comes up or we just are not awake it dosnt matter now.

And the best part is were still there for each other if need be, we can still group for certian things and of course since we'll be in familer areas we can help each other out if needed. But as you can clearly see from these screen my faince in all her balance druid glory can very easily handle herself! And i've never been prouder!!! As for our levels if you curious and keeping track my lovely fiance did hit level 53 as did I in fact you can clearly see from the last screen i have easily made an entire level in a very short amount of time.We spent most of our small time togetehr thou not acutally parited otgetehr in western plaugelands witch is a wonderfull treat, it can seem intemdiating but thats the point. The last part of the night i made my way back un'gro crater to try and finsh off some quests and even do some hunting for leatehrworking, but alas i'm too tried and its late so i'm calling it a night and will get back to it tommrow.

And yes tommrow is the big day as WoLK will launch at midnight edt(eastern daylight time) and heres hoping the servers dont die! LOL as for us will we be there that looks pretty much impossible right now, unforuntly RL has reared its head and prevented it for now, but we will catch up you can bet on it so look out cause we will be there! and as such on our deathknights we will play and party together and that will be an absloute blast! As for the addon front, i havnt done any work on it because of the various server problems of course and of course rl issues.

I will get back to work on it in erneast i'm figuring this weekend is the best bet let the dust settle from WoLK release first. So whats on the WoW agenda tommrow more mains! at least mine anyway, i want to keep levling and getting up there as well as push my leatherwoking up and of course my fishing could use a little work so stayed tuned for all that! A warlocks days...and a change of plans...

Hey everyone been a bit I know but were back, first the bad or good news depending on how you look at it, due to RL reasons our ablity to get WoLK on launch day has become pretty much not feasable. So unfourntly we have to wait untill we have the funds to let us do so, however this allows us to play a little more relaxed and i'll get back to that soon. I have been playing my alts and taking a bit of a break from our mains, my warlock finnaly reached level 20 as you can see screenshot!

Unfoufntly I didnt get much else done as I was helping my fiance alt run through dm(deadmines) but i did mange to play my alliance mage witch manged to rack up a few more achivements as you can see here, most of the rest of the day was pretty much the deadmines run and then just when i thought i'd check some auctions, the pre-WoLK events started up again, for both the allaince and horde.

For the alliance stormwind harbor was the scene with the king of storwind and allaince genreals gathered ready to move there boats to northrend and the lich king sent his minons to attack, frost wyrms and undead abomnations, they were fought back and then most people gathered near the kings postion as you can see in that screenshot. Was very neat and i'm hoping theres more!

With tommrows downtime lurking it will be late before I get on and this is where things get dicey, my loving fiance and I have played our mains togetehr somehting I enjoy emnsaly but with the ablity to WoLK pushed back, she hasnt been to intrested in playing our mains and thats fine sometimes i dont feel like it when she does. The problem is as much as I do enjoy my alts I have been done that road so much that now i'm starting to get to extra content I want to get to it. So i'm going to talk to her during that downtime and see if shes alright with us not always playing our mains togetehr and leveling as we can do that easily when we get WoLK and our deathknights.
