WoW New 3.3 Instances!

(VBlog - WoW 3.3 New 5-Mans)


Hey everyone a little late this week but i'll blame that on the weather cause well it applies ;P But seriously back in this week with a latey but a goody! Of course thoese who play WoW know the new 3.3 content patch, named 'Fall of the Lich King' has been released this week. And of course I was all over it best I could be! There is a ton of new addtions, features and more, including three, count them, 3, new 5-man dungeons.



Whats so intresting about these instances is they are attuned, meaning you have to finsh a quest to get into the others. Now this sounds familer to old school WoW fans, but dont fear its not so bad! In fact these are the first 5-mans that are story/quest linked! Its acuatlly quite intresting and acutally promotes moving from each dungon! I had a PuG (Pick up Group) group get together and run this one morning also using the new LFG (Looking For Group) interface, very simple, clean and easy and oh took less then 5 minutes even at about 5am! We went in on regular and finshed the place in about an hour and a half, as our first time! A great group and you can see it all in the vid above! Oh you may want to check it out anyway as you will see my new layout for my UI! Yes i'm acutally orgnanized, SCARY!

WoW Naxxarams Construct Quarter, and TFTD

(TFTD LP Part 93)

Hello again everyone, back once again with more updates. Not exactly all I hoped for but still sucess none the less, we do have a good WoW vblog update with more raid info, this time its still nax of course but its the Construct quarter! 3 parts you defintly dont want to miss out on as you can see bellow. Also I did manage to get 2 LP's encoded before I ran out of time (been one of those start of weeks ;P) of TFTD for you all to enjoy as well as you can see above (2 total).

I was hoping to get some addon parts up as well but it just didnt happen today, my sleeping scehdule got a bit messed up so i'm a little off on my timing and I pretty much just got the last two parts of the construct quarter done with just a bit of time to encode the TFTD lp for you all today. No need to fret thou, thrusday isnt so far and I know i'll have more for you all then, addon special included is my hope and much more MM9 and TFTD LP's of course as well! I aplogize to wow vblog fans if it seems like they dont get many updates, I want to remind everyone that vblog always takes longer to do/encode then the LP's because of its nature (effects, overlays etc.) that lps dont. LP's are basicly raw clips as there recorder where as the vblogs are more editing for focus of content.

In ethier case i'm happy to se everyone enjoying as well as still finding my youtube channel and my blog and hope they continue to do so and spread the word. So whats new on the WoW front, 3.2 around the corner and whats this...Royal Pain the guild i'm raiding with is starting to venture into Ulduar! Yes we did last night my wife healing for flame levaithan witch they one shotted, woot! For XT-20000 she had to goto bed but I was up so I manged to lend a hand and after a few wipes we downed him! And you better belive I got that on film! So theres still so much to come in the raid area alone. But thats not all for WoW oh no, besides the addon special we still have my alts of course! I will begin to cover them off and on soon after 3.2 patch is live and gtg!

And of course theres always a lot more LP's of MM9 and TFTD but what else? Well only time will tell, stayed tuned, enjoy subscribe and of course spread the word but most importantly, thank you!

Level 75-76 & The Wraith Gate + Poll Results!

(Part 1)

Hello once again everyone, we'll a bit delated but no worries were back and with probley the best stuff we have had, no only have I reached level 76 (acutally near 78 now!) but this has all that awsome wraith gate content you have probley heard about! If you havn't take a look at what you have to look forward to, or if you dont want spoliers skip it! Also we have the poll results as you should be able to see it was a close one and I want to thank everyone who cast there vote!!

A lot has been happening! I have more comping up for course non-the least level 76-77, i've acutally nearly level to 78 already just on dailies! So i'll be sure to show you all that in my 77-?? blog post when it comes avalible, included my flying in northrend ;) But back to this blog, we have a lot here as were nearly done with Dragonblight, most importanly is the wraith gate event witch is the comlination of everything you have working to and tracking so far, its worth it, its awsome and its a lot more fun playing then watching ;) Of course Quickshot here takes you through it quest by quest!

For thoese wondering about our poll thats also in this VBlog, and as you can plainly see the the winner, but I want to let you all know not to worry! I'm still planing on a warrior special (a lot like the shaman special) as well, but first up is our addons special, i'll be doing thoese in bits/parts with focus on one or a few addons and going down the list, be sure not to miss it! I know you all have been dying for this info and such, so expect the first video to be out very soon!

WoW Level 74-75, Next VBlog WoW Special Poll

Greets once more to everyone out there, quickshot14 back with more WoW goodness! As promissed my vblog post of my main going from level 74-75 is now up and viewable, a whopping 5 parts! So defintly dont miss out on it. Also again a reminder i'm looking for your feedback on what you want the next VBlog WoW Special to be, like the shaman special. Theres three choices avalible, do you want to see about each of my addons, including features, where to grab it, etc. Or would you like to here about my auction house stratgies, tips, and overall ideas on making gold. And last but not least would you like to see a special about the warrior class from level 10-20 just like the shaman special? (Part 2)

Back to the vblog, we are now in Dragonblight questing out and leveling up. Theres many things in Dragonblight but many will find its a lot more sequencenced in its quests, this is a good thing as it makes it more intresting reading the story that is engraved into it. Theres also much more phasing here then we have seen previously as well. Though i have all the major flight paths open and already grabed some quests when I start, pretty much everyone will be starting in stars reach or/and wintergarde keep. Weather you started in Howling Fjord or Borean Tundra this is your next stop as it is a level 71-74 zone. There is some great quests here, as well as a very fun dragon repeatable quest and also an easy tuskar repeatble quest as well.

As you will see even though I went as fast as I could from quests via the clips there was some I just had to capture all of it, because of that and the amount of questing I did to reach level 75 theres a huge amount of parts here! A total of 5 parts! So be sure to look over them and also included in part 5 is more info about the poll thats up for the next vblog special. For you LP fans as well dont fret I didnt get to CoH this week as planned but there will be some LP posts up next week so be on the look for it. I'm getting excited about my main as shes only 5 levels from 80 and just 2 from being able to get cold weather flying!

(Part 4)

Of course a you have probley seen in my vblogs as much as i'm holding onto the gold I will need i'm very short! I'm not quite half-way but very close, as I need a total of 6k gold to learn both flying its self (costs 5k/witch can be learned at 70) and then of course cold weather flying (costs 1k) And unforunlty my auctions seem to be on a downward dip once again. Witch does happen, it goes up and down, i'm even trying my luck on the netural auction house for somethings and have had mixed results so far, but well see what I can do. Honeslty the most gold 've been making is from running quests and selling the non-used soul bound items! Most quests with this method you can make i'd say an average of 10 gold.

(Part 5)

Witch granted isnt a huge amount but if you add how many quests it takes to get a level at these levels if you do just 50 quests well thats 500 gold easy. So thats encoruging and not to bad and as I get back to major levling and questing of course it should add up quick. And hopefully, hopefully by level 77 I will be able to get my flying skill. After reaching level 75 I have spent some time working on some tuskar rep, for some great rewards including some recipes and an awsome epic fishing poll. Still a long way to getting that but doing the quests and evrything else has manged to give me nearly 25% on my next level, including the dragonblight daily witch I recommend eveyrone do cause its easy, fun and will easily get you the simple re-quest achivement if you dont have it. WoW Level 73-74, More Comin!

(Part 1)

Greets once again all, back here again with much more for you, first there should be two blog posts coming up this week for WoW. First today, and then Wensday as I have made it upto level 75, so make sure you stick around for that! But up first is level 73 to 74. This vblog is quite as long as the others, I had massive XP from my instance runs that I did before, so thats why it didnt take long to do this. Also to be sure of time and space I kept the clips short and to the point, so this vblog can and probley will go pretty quick for all of you.

Important things to note here is first, this is the last of Howling Fjord, after I hate 74 I decide it was best to move on and worry about the achivement for quests latter. Reason I did this is Dragonblight is next (and you will be going there no matter witch end of Northrend you started in) and its a level 71-74 zone and I wanted to make sure to max me XP potentional there as much as possible as Dragonblight has a ton of quests to do as well as its probley the first real area you going to notice phasing.

Other things to really note, is that I have added some new addons that you may notice in here, i dont have it up on my list just yet but i'll try to have it on that addon list by wensday, i'm also going to start a poll for a special vblog, I basicly would like all your input on what it should be about, choices are, addons, auction tips/tricks, and finnaly a warrior class special (like the shaman one). So please let me know what you'd like to see i'll be sure to mention it in detail in the next vblog so the poll is going to be up for quite a while. WoW Level 71-72!! FINNALY LOL.

(Part 1)
Hello everyone, YEAAAA were finnaly back on it, after fighting my allergies and Preimer pro in some cases lol, I have my entire vblog up and posted for my main going from level 71 to 72. Now I know the last you saw of my main was hiting level 70, but as i state in the videos I did skip the 70 to 71 vbloging to take a bit of a break from it as I was working on the shaman special so much at the time. But never the less I did capture a good amount of video from my level 71 to 72 before I lost net connection. In fact most of this video is very old, 3 months to be exact as its been siting on my hard drive for me to get back online and finsh leveling. As most of you know that happend this past April 20th and I did level to level 72 just a few days latter!

(Part 2)

Whats taken so long to get this up is a few things, first spring hasnt been very kind to me, and i've off and on sick as of late, also with my Wife and I sharing a computer now I dont have as much time to sit and encode each video as well as play (since it takes about an hour each part to encode) this on top of some encoding bugs/errors and of course the days where I was so very sick I wasnt able to do anything, and hence thats why I havnt been able to get this all to you till now. So first my aplogies, and my thanks for your patince in this matter! There is a lot to see here! Were finshing up Borean Tundra and then moving to the other alliance starting zone of Howling Fjord. Many quests are done, as well as a few achviments including, Nothing Boreing about Borean and of course D.H.E.T.A.S. Little P.E.T.A. and of course all the new footage fresh out of the box of the most recent major patch!

(Part 3)

Theres so much to see here it was hard to cram it all in, and I wasnt able to cram it into 3 parts as you can see there are acutally four! So enjoy it, its been a long time and hopefully it wont be that much longer, i've already started leveling from 72-73 and have already begun to record that footage for you all. As for my ever patince MM9 fans, dont fret ethier, more MM9 is coming up for you very soon! And for all my LP watchers who do check my blog, more LP's are coming up as well, I was hoping to record some this past tuesday morning but since I was sick I wasnt able too.

Working on some alts and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Greets again everyone, back once more as I menionted before this week is up in the air with posts mainly due to it being thanksgiving. I should not have a post tommorow at all for you but you can expect one for friday! In the mean time what WoW I have been playing i've kind of been focusing on some of my skills, on my main in paticular I was working on bringing her fishing skill up witch i'm happy to say I did upto Artisan! I must say the quest was a bit of a pain not becuase its hard or diffcult to do but because it has you running all over to find single fish! Otherwise its very quite simple. At any rate it got done. And I got of course an achivement for it and also one I forgot I didnt have on my main witch you can see in the screenie!

Besides that i've been playing my alt, as you all saw before some of my alliance mage but I took a break from that and worked on my hunter she got an exploration achivement as the screenie shows and happy to say shes at a level to tame a rare pet that i'm after. Unfournlty I havnt found him yet and rare spawns are just that rare so I dont know when i'll get the oppurunity or will to find and tame him. Hopefully I will early friday. Of course also friday is an SM(Scarlet Monstary) run with my DK and some others, i'm hoping to continue to refine my tanking skills here. Also of course saturday night is the big raid once more! So you definlty have a lot to look forward too.

My applogies for this being so short but as RL thanksgiving is here for us in the states it does happen. So thou no blog post tommorow you can find me the day after so I hope to see you then after your turkey coma! A small break....and back to work!!

Hello everyone, back once again after a bit of a time off from all that hard leveling work! I needed a breather from WoW and games in genreal for a day or so, so thats why there was no blog post the other day, but now i'm back and onto it again. Thou not getting all I hoped done acomplished due to some net issues I did mange to get some progress done on my main. First shes got some great new gear and i'm just enjoing outland a lot! I also got some nice unexpected achivements as well while questing and working in outland! You can see thoese screenies here on the blog of course.

I ended the day by travling with our guild leader to dalaran via portal, to look at one of the new vanity pets there. I couldnt afford it (well i could but i would of been nearly broke again) but i did make my new hearth there, I also ran into my brother who showed me a neat shop for vainty pets including a leash. I have a cute pick of me in tree form holding my little baby blizzard bear (the WoW 4th aniverserary award) with the leash! I must say dalaran is quite cool, theres a lot to see and the lag was pretty decent...thou being so late I cant be sure that will always be the case.

There is some RL stuff to do tommrow and of course thanksgiving is coming up! So my blog posts may be short but you can bet theres much more WoW to be had as I continue leveling up! With another BRS raid on saturday and a SM(Scarlet Monstary) run on firday you can bet i'll keep myself pretty busy as the new raid leader! And of course i'll bring it all to you right here! In the mean time as I menioned before I updated my addon links and i also added a new poll! So please let me hear your opinon! You dont even have to regiester with blogspot to vote, but if you are registered please leave your comments!!

A little respec and DK hits 60!!!!

And greets to everyone once more! Another day done as monday is in the belt and matince tuesday hits like a ton of...ummm we have to go back to real life for how long with out WoW...LOL seriously thou what a wonderfull day of Death Knight fun! First I did a bit of a respec curve to make my Death Knight a better tanker and so far that has worked out wonderfully!!! Not only can I handle my self much better in a large big fight but I'm getting much more comfertable with my talents and spells/abblites! As I told you yesterday I worked on moving my deathknight upto level 60, i'm happy to say I did it, a bit quicker then I acutally thought witch was wonderfull. I even as you can see from the screenies headed to the Dark Portal and now officaly started in outland with my DK(Death Knight).

Also my DK hit another achivement as you can see, master first aid witch is very very sweeeet! With my death knight doing so well not only in the leveling department but also the aution house department I may work some of my alchemy tommroow after the maitance we will have to see, I want to work on my main and level her up as shes lagged a bit behind. I'm happy to say my lovley fiance has hit 57!!! And i'm so proud of how shes doing, she also got her death knight to level 60 and if you can tell or not she rode into the dark portal with me into outland! Tommorow has a lot of RL stuff on the plate, but also some non-WoW related stuff (I know heart attack!) i'm going to look into doing some wacraft 3 modding during the downtime. All this lore and content makes me hungrey to do some war 3 stuff just cause I know how to mod it well!

As for my WoW addons there on hold for the moment, i'm still looking forward to getting back to them just for now there put on a back burner till I can focus more on everything, hopefully this weekend or friday I can get back to work seriously on MatTrack! We will have to see. Sides that the biggest thing on the agend charchter wise is leveling my main, at least 1 level maybe more if I can. I doubt i'll run all the way to 60 but i'd like to get her as close if not there asap as possible just to keep up with incoming guild raids/instances that we will be doing more of. Besides that its more deathknight or an alt really to play and i'm definlty have a lot of fun with WoW. Got my beatifull fiance to play with as I have for quite a while, and now good wonderfull WoW freinds to play with as well, and I feel like i'm finnaly geting to the point I should of been years and years ago!

Herb loving Deathknight????

And hello once more everyone, as we reach the end of an amazing launch weekend and the beging of a new week we end it probley in the dullest way possible, herb hunting???? Yes thats right as i'm playing WoW with my new death knight, my professions are at the top of my list of things to do. Why? Simple if I dont do it now i'll have to latter and ethier way it just needs to be done! So most all today we spent herb hunting to finsh geting my herbalism and alchemy to artisan. I'm happy to say that I got it as the first screenie shows *woot!* and i'm unhappy to say it was a pain to do!!!

And not for the most common reasons, most was RL related (lets just say net issues and body issues okkkkay we will leave it there ;P) But I still got it done, and finnaly FINNALY I got get back to questing my death knight. Witch is a good thing i've learned if your going to tank a death knight, dependent on your spec of course changes how best you shoud/would tank. Thou the talents I chosse were good and the way I was tanking alright. It wasnt up to snuff at all! So I have spent the 1 gold and totaly re-speced my tallents changing them up a bit. I have to say from just doing a few lower level quests in Western plaguelands, I belive this talent spec is going to work much much better for me period let alone tanking! Time will tell.

In the mean time a few things, 50 quests done for my deathknight! (woot) and lastley something I needed badly and still need more of, I got a huge sell today on the auction house of a drop my deathknight found last night while soling Uldaman. Thou it helped a TON with my death knight and getting an enchant for her as well, it still hasnt helped my weekly ratio for gold. In total i'm still 150 gold in the red(thats minus for thoese of you who dont do accounting jargon!) for the week! As you can imagne with a lot of spending with the hit to level 55, the enchants and even some gold sent and spent by my deathknight its hit my bank hard. And unfournlty my poor main just isnt selling well on the AH at all.

Currenlty my plan is to let her auctions expire and sort them out, try to sell other stuff for cheaper just to get something hopefully a profit, and the rest ethier vendor, guild or disenchant. If I absloutley have to I will start bottom scanning again on my main (witch is kind of nuts but I have a TON of gold to recover here!) because I need to make sure my main has the money she needs when she reaches level 60 to get her epic mount. As for my deathknight, its time to level her and level her well. Goal is to get her to level 60 and in outland, asap! Hopefully by tuesday or latest wensday (due to server down time and RL and so on) once thats done I can focus back on my main and work her up to 60 as well. I will probley be switching back and forth bewteen my main and my alt-main(the deathknight) pretty constantly. Esppicaly with guild matters, so keep it tuned to see how that goes.

And hopefully I can have a signature for you all of my deathknight as soon as Magelo gets updated. In the meantime i'm beat(thats tired smartbutt ;P) so its time for me to hit the pillows with my beatifull fiance. Heres a beatifull screenshot of a sunset on top of a hill in the Swamp of Sorrows. The instance that got pwned...and the raid that got owned!

Heyaz everyone back again once more of course to tell you what went down and I was upto today. Again more WoW and new guild (witch rocks btw!) action to talk about here. The first part of the day not very exciting, spent most of it running around on my death knight picking herbs to get my herbilsam up and help bring up my alchmey. Glad to say that went over very well! After that we hit our first instance run of the day a low level one, so I decide to try something new and tank with my dk.

Have to say it was a very cool blast! Despiste some stops a couple of deaths we finshed all 4 parts of scarlet monestary for the achivement(as you can see in screenie) in just a little over 2 hours. I have to say it was my first time, truely tanking and it was a lot of fun, I did make a few mistakses and died once (we had no healers with us) but it happens and its a great learning experince! And now I have the wonderfull achivement woot! The death knight is a ton of fun to tank with and his array of spells makes him quite formidable i've learened more and more, i'm looking forward to learning more with em!

After a quick switch back to my main we headed for the raid event, where, yes I, yours truely decided to volunteer/asked to be raid leader for the guild. We did very well and had a blast after a slow slugish start, it was the guilds first real raid (of many we hope!) and we had 9 members for this 10 man instance BRS(Black rock spire) of all levels, from minimum (45) to highest suggested (60)! We had a death knight tanking and a ton of mages and of course my sweet lovley fiance was pushing her boomkin(moonkin ;P) form for more fun, we had a couple of low level pallys and yours truely and one lone hunter. We did quite well but we had a very slow start witch ate up most of our play time. We also had some communication issues but overall we worked very very well togetehr. We had deaths here and there but got fairly deep and far.

I was told I was a good leader, and I did the best I could nad I hope at least everyone had fun I know it got rough at times but I belive we all had a blast and we can of course always do it again. Unfournlty in the end the instance beat us, we had a total wipe! With one man standing for a while, our lowest level paladin stayed alive as long as he could and we were cheering him on, but alas it was not to be. With a lot of laughs and cheers we called it and prcoeeded to enjoy the after party! LOL that is talk around and make each other laugh and remeber what we did! I've got great screenies of it all right here for you to take a look at so enjoy! We will definlty do more radiing but at an ealier hour to try and make up the diffrence, of course we had a lot of fun and this is cerintly what I joined the guild for. I belive i've found a good home here, and hell they put up with me, help out very well with everyone truely and even let me lead a raid. Tell me another guild that would do that for a new member! My sweet fiance and I hope to stay with the Royal Pains for a very very long time!

WoLK comes to me, and Death Knights ROCK!

Back again everyone! And in for a treat my faince and I managed to buy 2 copies of WoLK for us and we rocked with our death knights and I have awsome screenies for you all to see and enjoy, be warned there might be some spoliers so you have been warned! First I have to say I have this has been a very enjoyable experince by far, anyone looking to do this is in for quite a treat this is an experince you have never had before in any mmo let alone WoW its self!! The entire phasing aspect is so seemless and somewhat transparent and your so caught up into what your doing to really even notice!

So my wonderfull fiance and I rolled our Night Elf deathknights as altarnte fallen personas of our mains, you can see all these wonderfull screenies of our progress and transiton throughout the starting quests. You start as level 55 and by the time your 'free' of the lich king (you start out acutally working for the scourge!) you should be about level 58, it was a lot of fun I do have to admit and the gear went up well! The entire aspect of being of deathknight is very tankish (ie take the damage and focus on you) but there much more versitle and diffrent then any other tank you may have ever seen or played!

Its hard to describe really, but it makes total sense lore wise after all death knights are the oposite specturm of paladins as the entire progress shows by how arthas was a paladin then became a death knight. Its a lot of fun the story invovled and the changing world in the start is quite epic feeling, and then how your treated untill you set things straight is very very neat. If anyone is even thinking about buying WoLK but dosnt have a 70 and has at least a level 55 then get it for the death knight i'm sure you wont be dissapointed!

I dont want to go into to much detail about what your seeing as most to show what we did and wet your appiate, there plenty of places on the web to find more info and more details and spoliers about the death knight area and its quests/story. But as you can see its very cool, any race on ethier side can be a death knight, so have away at it! I would definlty look up for minformation about death knight class at the WoW website if you want more info. The most important things to note that in order to roll(create) a death knight you must have WoLK (of course!) and have a toon(a charchter) at least level 55. Then you can create your new Death Knight.

Besides rolling a death knight and geting WoLK I also did level my main to level 56! Also were setting up some instance running tommorow in the guild so be sure to check the blog for screenies and info on that! I hope you all subscribe to the blog, leave comments the works. I'm not sure if you have to register with blogger.com for some of it but its painless and easy and you can even start your own blog! As for addons of course I was hoping to get to dillgent work on my new MatTrack but with getting WoLK and guild that hasnt happend quite yet, i'll try to fit in some work on it probley sunday at the eailest monday at the latest so stay tuned for that.

Also I do need to update my addon listing on the right for you all i'll try to get that done in the next day or so. See you all tommorow with hopefully a nice bigggg post hehe.

DING Level 55!!...and the joining of Royal Pain!

And greets to everyone once more, its another day and wow what a day! Very long and busy and still in progress lol. First thing I see when I logged in as promissed with the screens is a death knight and there coming out all over and there awsome! So far many death knights have been helpfull, very in fact one deathknight acutally asked me before atacking a mob if i was after it as well for quest, i told him yes and he grouped and helped me out for the quest duration and then a nice farewall. Very cool stuff!

Today was full of firsts, of course first to level 55! And with it came guild time and i'm happy to say I belive i've found a great guild, still under probation (thats trial period to make sure I fit the guild and vica versa) And so far we are having a blast, after meeting up with them all my lovely fiance also decided to join them as she was dis-satisfied with her current guild. I'm happy to say this is definlty the guild I was looking for, fun, orignzied, adult and best of all helpfull! But lets go through these screenies first.

First we have our deaht knight pics, as you can see its pretty awsome but the pic does it no justice, and I definlty can not wait to get my hands on my own death knight! After the death knight we have what i'm pretty sure is the death knights portal/gate to ebon hold, the cidital to the death knights if you will. Next we have me making it to level 55! WOOT after about a week or so finnaly made it to level 55. With that came some new gearing and of course the all important guild call.

But first I made my first aid achivement upto master! Witch made me very happy of course, then the guild came and with it first the title (with me cheering glad to find a good guild) followed by another achivemnt that caught me a bit by suprsied, 500 quests completed! WOW! Thats a lot of quests lol. Followed by some serious work in the suken temple! A group of 5 of us headed down there my lovley fiance included to loot it up and take some quests down, we even manged to get some xp out of the mobs too and of course racked up the achivment as you can see! A very good run and a very good day!
